Sunday February 1, 2026 2:00-7:00PM @ Hierophant Meadery
What is Imbolc?
Imbolc is a Celtic tradition of honoring the half way point between the beginning of winter and the first day of spring. Imbolc symbolizes the awakening of the earth and the early signs of spring. The Imbolc holiday honors St. Brigid, Ireland’s Patron Saint.
How do we celebrate Imbolc?
Feast of Fire – To show gratitude for the coming fertility of spring we will be feasting on nourishing foods from a local food vendor.
Hot Mulled Mead – The making of and sharing of mead is within the historic rituals of the seasonal wheel. We will have special house made mulled mead!
Bonfires & Wood Fired Sauna – Gather around a warm fire in community, with opportunities to book a sauna session with goodmedicine Whidbey! Book at
goodmedicinewhidbey.com to reserve your spot.
Offerings – Interactive Altar, Complimentary Herbal Activities on the patio or in the hot tent in the case of rainy weather.
4PM Group Ritual Gathering – Lauren Morgan, Herbalist, Dreamweaver, Earth based Ceremonialist and Author of Seasonal Herbalism will lead us in an Imbolc ritual as a group at 4:00PM in the Meadow. These have been beautiful peak moments, and we encourage all to join us!
Live music with Tri & Ira Echo
We look forward to seeing you there as we begin our 2026 seasonal wheel.
